The whole of the web is now abuzz with this one piece of rumor stemming from onelisting on the Moscone Center’s calendar.
Between 11th June and 15th June, a corporate meeting is scheduled at the Moscone Center – the place where Apple conducts its WWDC always. One amazing aspect of this is that because the Corporate Meeting has no other details to go by, everyone has begun the rumor that Apple could possibly announce iPhone 5 during this time.

In the present trend of an October iPhone 5 release date speculation, though, this looks highly impossible.
Well, first let’s hear the rumor:
Apple could possible have the WWDC 2012 schedule set for June. Since the WWDC 2012 venue is the Moscone Center (Apple’s favorite), it could also mean that the WWDC will be held during June 11-15th (the calendar dates on which the bookings have been done).
Naturally, Apple will have to talk about: iOS 6.0, iPhone 5, but most importantly, OS XMountain Lion and MacBook updates which are yet to arrive.
The question of whether Apple will be talking about iPhone 5 at the WWDC 2012 is anybody’s guess but to us, we suspect that Apple will do anything of that sort. One important reason is that it is not even an year since iPhone 4S and recent Barclaysreport suggests that the iPhone 5 will see the light of day during September / October.
Clubbing these together, the most likely answer for the WWDC 2012 looks like discussions on other important aspects:
Yes, these would probably be about changes in iMac or MacBook, about Mac OS XMountain Lion and about iOS 6.0 which is the next larger update for the present iOS 5.1.
2012 was stated to be a happening year for Apple and it has already been quite eventful. It now looks like Apple meant much more than what we heard. A lot of changes are happening this year.
And above all an important thing to note is – the very fact that Apple will be holding the WWDC 2012 during June 11th and 15th itself is unconfirmed yet – it is just a rumor that’s going around.
