Just 2 days back Apple launched their new iPad in the market!!! However, it was awful news for all Apple fans As, Apple didn’t proclaim one name to it (the new iPad) every single fan of Apple was expecting that Apple will come up with some name of the new iPad as: iPad 3, or iPad HD, or iPad 2S, etc. Although, Apple did somethinginnovative –they didn’t surface with any sequence number. It was deliberated a confusing moment for all their (Apple) fans.

So, make the picture clear WSJ went to the fore to ask Phil Schiller – it has been just to avoid the uncertainty of the issue. As, initially the first generation Appleproduct was given a name as iPad and which was followed by iPad 2 and now it is just “The New iPad”. How come so? But, he stated that:
“Because we don’t want to be predictable”.

Can you believe it? They didn’t give any number to the new iPad just because they didn’t want to be predictable. It was all! No other clarification was added to it. Also, they didn’t tediously talk about the features of iPad which is going to change and escort the world to a new incredible era. In addition to it, they (Apple) also didn’t talk about the marketing strategy that how they are going to promote their new iPad in the market?
Apple might have given this statement because they wanted to stay away from the dilemma between the two names. Because many people were expecting the new iPad to call as iPad 3 and some were expecting as iPad HD. I think this could be the reason but I don’t know the accurate motive….
But, the most confusing time for the consumer will come when they will really go to purchase the new iPad. At that point of time, the retailer is definitely going to get confused that what you are asking… You need a new iPad (iPad 2) or the latest iPad. However, Apple can face a similar problem in the future also – only if they didn’t change the name of their new iPad.
