A short reply indeed! This was Apple’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook’s response toan email sent by a customer demanding why Siri had not yet been released in Italianeven after six months of its release in spite of the fact that Italy is the second country in Europe and quite ahead of other nations.
This interaction between Tim Cook and the Italian customer was revealed through a post on melablog.it and Tim’s response clearly indicates that the Siri Italian support is on the way to being released this year. Another thing of importance is that the current CEO is maintaining the tradition of replying to customer’s emails and adding a personal touch to them.
Apple’s website already has shown support for Italian, Chinese, Korean, and Spanish, as languages in 2012 and this email is not another one of those rumors as the IP address does actually belong to Apple. So it seems the Italian customers are going to have their dream of getting Siri support for Italian language fulfilled soon enough. There’s no denying that it’s a privilege to get a personal response from the Apple’s CEO himself.
