People have rushed to get hold of the new iPad from the Apple Retail stores since it has been made available. However, some of them have preferred to get the newVerizon iPad on AT&T 3G with AT&T Micro-Sim. 4G LTE is the most talked about feature of the new iPad and people opted for a 4G LTE device with Wi-Fi networking. The new iPad is available on both Verizon and AT&T network so it’s quite puzzling to decide which one is better.
Now although the new Verizon iPad supports the same GSM bands for non-LTE networks as for AT&T, yet it seemed likely that one could use the new Verizon iPad onAT&T 3G. So it can be said that Verizon is going to do better than the AT&T and the reason being the extensive network ground of 4G LTE network. If you travel a great deal, putting someone else’s GSM micro-Sim in your new iPad can help you use the data package on the new iPad. A particular user has reportedly said that with the newVerizon iPad he has been able to use the AT&T’s data package from his iPhone 4S micro-Sim put into his new iPad with a slight organization of settings.
Being compatible with AT&T’s 3G network on the new iPad, it can even be used on International 3G networks. According to Apple’s recent post, the new Verizon iPadhardware can support only 700 Mhz band for 4G LTE network while it says the GSM version supports both 700 MHz and 2100 MHz that is used by the particular carrier.
