New 3.5-inch micro-dock LTE iPhone Scheduled for an October Release

With the release of the third generation iPad, iMore has begun to bring outinformation about the next iPhone. According to iMore, the iPhone 5 release date is scheduled to be later this year. And as far as the iPhone 5 features are concerned there had been rumors indicating that Apple was to feature a 4.6 inch display for its next iPhone. However, now fresh information has come out revealing that the Apple is to maintain the 3.5 inch screen size.

Moreover, Apple is reportedly planning on a new 3.5 inch micro-dock LTE iPhone so as to maintain room enough for other components. To put it altogether iPhone 5 is to come with:

  • A screen similar to its predecessor that is a 3.5-inch one though it isn’t yet confirmed
  • A 4G LTE radio and
  • A new “micro dock” connector
The new micro-dock connector had been under discussion earlier too. It is something that can exhibit into a kind of Micro-USB port which would be a clever move considering the importance of wireless and iCloud technology nowadays. Another thing that is being expected is that Apple may go for the Qualcomm or next-gen chips in to it, the same as it has used in its next-gen iPad. A bigger screen size would be a welcome thing for most while some still prefer a smaller size.
