“Siri not working properly” – This is what we’ve been hearing since some time. The iPhone 4S voice-activated assistant is after all not as perfect as it seemed to be when it was released. Siri is said to be still in the Beta stage so obviously errors are an expected thing.

However, there’s a particular New York man, Frank M Fazio who doesn’t think that way. He has sued Apple for what he claims is false and misleading advertising of Siri through commercials that are misleading the consumers regarding the voiceassistant’s capabilities.

Frank M. Fazio bought his iPhone 4S device in Brooklyn in November, and did not seem to be satisfied with how Apple presents Siri commercial as he thinks the voiceassistant is not the same in reality. According to the suit that was filed in a federalcourt in California:

In many of Apple’s television advertisements, individuals are shown using Siri to make appointments, find restaurants, and even learn the guitar chords to classic rock songs or how to tie a tie. In the commercials, all of these tasks are done with ease with the assistance of the iPhone 4S’s Siri feature, a represented functionality contrary to the actual operating results and performance of Siri.”
Although at times the error in Siri functionality can be irritating but that doesn’t justify people filing lawsuit against the company especially if the lawsuit claims Siri to be at best, a work in progress. Apple is already busy dealing with the lawsuit filed by Samsung to be much bothered by this one so it has not yet shown any response towards it.
