Apple has walked hand in hand with Samsung which is an important supplier of the iOS device components and at the same time both companies have also been rivals, Samsung’s android based hardware competing with Apple devices. However, even though Apple would prefer to break the alliance with Samsung it can’t as technical considerations demand that Apple opt for Samsung when it comes to the best possible option for its components.
According to IHS iSuppli analyst Vinita Jakhanwal Samsung is presently the onlysupplier of the ultra-high resolution Retina display in the new iPad while Sharp and LG was to supply displays for it. However, there were rumors about Sharp having failed in keeping up to Apple’s standard in quality and later also of Sharo not being a part of theApple’s supply chain anymore.
The new iPad Retina display comes with four times as many pixels as the previous version giving a more realistic effect to images and videos.
Besides that the new iPad also sports a faster processor in competition with other her products.
