It seems that the iPad 3 release date is to be March 16th as per reports from9to5Mac, preparations are going on for an event on that particular date to beginselling iPad 3.
According to 9to5Mac, the March 16 iPad 3 launch date is credible enough as Apple has seemed to have always brought out its products in the market soon after unveiling them. There were also rumors about March 30 being the launch date but that doesn’t hold true with previous such Apple launches as it is quite far away. However, one way or the other it’s definitely going to be this March itself.
Besides the iPad 3 release, there is news of two new Apple Stores to be opened on the very same Friday. So that makes sense regarding the information about an event that day.
iPad 3 features have been the most talked about these past few weeks and especially the high resolution retina display and 4G connectivity. Well, as far as the retina display feature is concerned it does seem to be plausible but LTE connection is still a doubtful one. Besides that there will be a much faster processor and upgraded cameras among the said features.And regarding the price of the next generation iPad, it may start from 499$ like the previous iPad models or perhaps be more than that. And reports also indicate that there may be a change in the name. It might after all not be called iPad 3 as anticipated. Instead it said to be named “iPad HD”.
