Noted Apple-related news blog iMore has recently chimed in its views about 4G LTE on the iPad 3. It looks like the iPad 3 features will certainly have the 4G LTE support, that has been the hot topic of discussion, of late.
The iPad 3 4G-LTE support is something that we’re personally not so sure of. But given Apple’s go-getter attitude, it could be very much possible that Apple got the 4G on the iPad HD. Of course, it’s just about a few hours before iPad 3 release date and we’ll know the full specs then.
4G Network in the US is still under development, although Samsung and Apple have already made their way into the technology through their own research products. Samsung in fact has got 4G support intact on the Galaxy S III already. While Apple’s iPhone 5 is sure to have the 4G support, considering that it would be the competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy S III and some other smartphones, the iPad 3 having 4G is still debatable.
AT&T and Verizon have been involved in establishing and strengthening their 4G networks across the country. A 4G network will increase the HSDPA to great extents. On the iPad HD, this comes in very handy because quite a lot of businessmen and executives use data via iPads. If 4G support is activated and the networks support this, it will add a new dimension to data connectivity while on the move.On the other hand, there are nay sayers too. 4G LTE technology is a costly affair. Given that the technology is still under development in the country, and also given that the cost of the iPad HD is about to remain same as the iPad 2 when it was released, it is not tough to conclude that the iPad HD will not have 4G support. Also, Apple has been keen on developing products for the present of late instead of the future – so 4G definitely looks doubtful.
Nevertheless, with iPad 3 release date falling tomorrow, we’ll get to know everything about the iPad 3 features – and finally see if it supports 4G or not. Even if it does, it will take some time to understand how AT&T or Verizon will patch up with iPad to provide excellent 4G Data.
