Viet Anh wins bronze at indoor tourney
Duong Thi Viet Anh won a bronze medal at the fifth Asian Indoor Athletics Championships held in Hangzhou, China, on Saturday.
Anh flew more than 1.84m in the women's high jump for her third place finish which was unfortunately not enough earn her an automatic berth in the upcoming Olympics.

The Bac Lieu Province-born jumper was expected to reach 1.92m to qualify for this summer event in London. She started very well in the first heights from 1.70m to 1.84m with only one try each but failed to make her dreams true after failing in all three attempts for the 1.88m mark.
Anh previously conquered 1.90m at last November's Indonesian SEA Games.
Host rivals Zheng Xingjuan and Wang Yang took the gold and silver medals respectively. Zheng's result of 1.92m was enough for her to secure an Olympic berth.
Teammate Nguyen Thi Thuy, who also hoped to make her mark here, was unsuccessful in the women's 400m event, making her ineligible for the final round.
The final two Vietnamese set to compete at the Championships are Tran Hue Hoa in the women's triple jump and Nguyen Thi Phuong in the women's 3,000m event.
