iPad 3 release date is round the corner, that is in the first quarter of 2012. However, according to a recent survey U.K. tech fans await the long-rumored iPhone 5 rather than a new Apple tablet.
MyVoucherCodes.co.uk has conducted a survey which revealed that 74% tech savvy customers were waiting for the iPhone 5 release date while only 71% were awaiting the iPad 3
When we come to think of the difference in the percentage it isn’t much but it makes us think what’s so special about iPhone 5 that people await it’s release which may be almost six months later. iPad 3 will be released much earlier than that as rumors indicate a fall release date.
The smartphone arena has been taken over by non-Apple devices like Samsung’s Galaxy S3, which has proved to be the second most popular smartphone in MyVoucherCodes list gaining 54 % demand which makes it the 8th most famous product.
Then comes the rumored Google tablet, Android which occupies the fourth position with 65% followed by KindleFire on the 6th position with 59%. The Kindle Fire is available in the U.S. currently and according to reports is said to be the second-most popular tablet there.
So what we need to do is wait and watch whether the iPhone 5 will remain popular among its fans or the techs in U.K. would rather switch to Android.
